ITS Award Category

G – Gold-Standard  | O - Outstanding | A - Achievement | L – Learner-Centred

Goal – Standard Award (Highest Achievement)
This is the highest standard in our category. By the time a student reaches this category they would have fulfilled the requirements of all the 3 step awards.
  • Obtained the outstanding achievement which involves, consistency in attendance, achievement of maximum reward in our merit attainment programme, produced exceptional work which needs to be published, working at a higher level at current school, achieved exceptional grade in mock exams in both English, Maths and Science.
  • Highly recommended by subject teachers.
  • Completion of all homework at higher standard
  • Excellent behaviour record both at current school and ITS
Outstanding Award
In this category the student is performing at excellent or exceptional level.
  • Student would have produced an excellent or exceptionally good work in both of his/her subjects.
  • Be consistent in punctuality and attendance
  • Complete all homework to an outstanding level
  • Made progress at all subjects from his/her current school report.
  • Achieve at least a 85-90% in ITS mock examination.
  • Good behaviour record both at current school and ITS
Achievement Award
In this category the student is working at the following level
  • Good progress at current school in both subjects
  • Achieved nearly 30 merits on the merit cards supplied by class teachers
  • Produce neat and good work
  • Shows diligent and commitments in learning
  • Engages well in lessons and contributes always in group discussions
  • Achieve at least 75-85% in ITS mock examination
  • Be consistent in punctuality and attendance
  • Complete all homework at good level
Learner-Centered Award
In this category the teaching is shifted from the teacher to the learned. It aims is to develop learner autonomy and independence,
  • To achieve this award, the learner should demonstrate the ability to work on his own with limited supervision.
  • Progress at current school in both subjects
  • Achieved nearly 25 merits on the merit cards supplied by class teachers
  • Produce reasonable work in class
  • Shows diligent and commitments in learning
  • Engages well in lessons and contributes always in group discussions
  • Achieve at least 60-70% in ITS mock examination
  • Be consistent in punctuality and attendance
  • Complete all homework at a good level
